You can also pick up a copy of the Real Weddings Issue of Cincinnati Wedding Magazine and read their story. It was one of 5 weddings chosen to be featured in the magazine! I am incredibly humbled and excited.

As a photographer there are few things in life that get you more excited than seeing your hard work published in print. Nowadays print is becoming scarcer and scarcer so to be published in that medium becomes even more of an honor.
When we were contacted by Weddings Magazine in England regarding our Downton Abbey shoot I couldn’t believe it. I actually thought it was spam or someone trying to get us to buy advertising space. After speaking with their editorial team I was so humbled to hear that they wanted to feature our shoot!
Think about it…a major bridal magazine in the UK wanted to featured a shoot we did based around an insanely popular show that was created in the UK. Wow! And they only feature one style shoot per bi-monthly issue which was even more of an honor.
I am so proud to have worked with each and every one of the vendors featured above. Take time to look around on their websites and give them so love. They worked hard. I am just lucky enough to have been the one snapping the photos.
Another side bonus: Now I can introduce myself at parties as “Internationally published photographer, Nathan Peel”. I’m sure that won’t sound pretentious at all, right?

2012 was full of amazing weddings and amazing people to work with. Some of my most favorite times were spent on inspirations shoots like this one. It’s a chance for us as vendors to push the limits of creativity and hang out with each other without the stress of a wedding day. If you are in the creativity business and you don’t take some time for personal work you’ll burn out.
This shoot was based around the show Downton Abbey and was photographed at Peterloon Estate here in Cincinnati. Such a gorgeous backdrop for a English themed shoot. The perfectly executed hair and makeup were done by Liz Carter and Nancy at brideface respectively. The pretty paper goods were created by Paperreka and the beautiful cake by Tres Belle. All of the styling was executed by Michelle at Blue Dahlia Events and Robin with Inspired Floral Design.
I’m pretty proud of this one…make sure you click on the full galleries to see all the fun we had that day!

This was a fun styled shoot at The Brown Hotel in Lousiville, Ky. I love the elegant details centered around the cement colored Pleated Fantasy Gown from BHLDN. Marti’s Floral Design added an amazing color palette to set off the elegant surroundings of the hotel. Kristen from FiveDot Design helped with styling the shoot and designed those amazing invites and other stationery. Our model Ashley was done up pretty by Ana from Applied Cosmetic Services (hair and makeup). And it’s all featured on Smitten Magazine!
I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting and a better group of people to shoot with. I am really proud of what we were able to accomplish together.
See the shoot here.
